Project overview
This Arabic Majles exterior project by Fibonacci DXB is a striking example of how architecture can embody cultural identity while embracing innovation. Located in the UAE, the project was meticulously designed to elevate traditional Arabic architecture with modern lines and premium finishes making it a landmark in exterior majles design.
Our objective was to deliver a majestic and welcoming majlis area for guests, rooted in heritage yet relevant for today’s lifestyle. This design beautifully complements the interior’s ambiance with a grand façade that speaks of luxury, hospitality, and cultural depth
Architectural Vision
The exterior design was conceptualized around three main pillars:
Cultural Authenticity – honoring Arabic traditions through pattern, symmetry, and materials.
Functional Elegance – ensuring the layout supports gatherings and complements the interior majles design.
Visual Impact – creating a luxurious first impression for visitors and family alike.
The majlis entrance is intentionally elevated and framed by ornate Islamic design motifs, a symbolic representation of status and welcome.
Exterior Design Highlights
Traditional Arabic Elements
We integrated classic features like mashrabiya-style screens, arched openings, and detailed stone carvings to reflect authenticity. These elements aren’t decorative only — they also serve thermal and privacy functions.
Luxury Materials & Finishes
High-grade limestone, marble cladding, and handcrafted copper details enhance both durability and aesthetic appeal. These materials were selected to withstand the UAE climate while adding depth and luxury.
Landscape & Lighting Harmony
The exterior landscape was designed to complement the majles facade, using desert-friendly greenery and ambient lighting to accentuate architectural lines at night. This combination enhances curb appeal and reinforces the majles’ prestige.
Majles Entry Experience
The grand entrance is the soul of the majles. A custom-designed double door leads guests into the space, flanked by symmetrical lighting and finely textured walls. The entrance was designed to evoke a sense of openness, pride, and warmth, while maintaining privacy and formality.
This design also aligns with Islamic architectural planning principles, ensuring that the majles remains visually and functionally independent from the rest of the home.
